Where Therapy and Somatic Healing Meet
Healing does not occur in a straight line and there is no easy checklist. Your path towards healing is your own and how you get there is as unique as you are. At Harmony Harbor, we offer wellness services that can support relief from every day stress to healing deep wounds.
Sometimes we need more than talk therapy and cognitive-behavioral strategies to soothe the soul or ease the body’s tension. Holistic and integrative care providers understand this, which is why our approach is unique. In our care, you have the value of well-trained, trauma-informed licensed mental health professionals and practitioners who specialize in providing healing through alternative research-backed methods like creative art, movement and breathwork, connecting with nature, and sound therapy.
A Sanctuary For Your Nervous System
We understand nervous systems that run on high-alert, which is why our trauma-conscious classes and workshops are crafted for those with mental health needs and sensory sensitivity. We value the variety of expression and embodied experiences provided by alternative therapeutic approaches which honor our full complexity as humans and our preferences. With small class sizes and trauma-informed practitioners, our mind-body approach and setting may be ideal for you if your mind is stuck on repeat and you are tired of the looping or if you need a calm and nurturing setting because you are easily overstimulated or overwhelmed.

One-on-One Support is Available
Maybe groups are not your thing? If you prefer to work with someone one-on-one, that works, too! Just let us know when you reach out if you would like to get connected with an individual practitioner and what modality appeals most to you.
A Mind-Body-Soul Conversation
Many individuals seeking support for mental health concerns also experience physical ailments such as inflammation, chronic pain, sleep disturbances, migraines, digestive concerns, and chronic fatigue. While our approach does not replace care by a medical doctor or your need to follow up with your doctor, it does often align with medical recommendations and can augment your wellness path.
Holistic practices– often experienced with few words– nurture a mind-body-soul conversation that allows healing to unfold naturally, on its own timing and in its own way. By addressing the mind-body connection, we foster a synergistic effect that enhances awareness, decreases inflammation, eases tension, and promotes healing, peace, and restoration.
The Science Beyond Traditional Talk Therapy
Sometimes words fall short. When you can’t find the words or a way to express distress, the experience may get “stuffed” or “stuck” deep in the body. These experiences may run and loop around in your mind like a song stuck on repeat, and the tension and discomfort you feel may not be “just in your head,” but in your whole-being.
Wellness practices have science on their side with well-backed and proven methods for alleviating many physical symptoms and also mental health conditions, like depression, anxiety, trauma, dissociation, and more.
Trauma-Conscious Wellness Services That Make The Difference
In our nurturing and therapeutic setting, you will find an inclusive, welcoming community, with trauma-conscious practices at the center of our mission. Here’s what you can expect when coming to one of our wellness services:
- Class sizes are kept small (usually no more than 6 to 8 people)
- We do not have mirrors
- No experience is necessary
- Wear what makes you comfortable
- Bring what comforts you, like a special blanket, pillow, or mat.
Our integrative approach and holistic practices pave the way for a sense of overall wellness, leading to whole-person transformation.
