Our Story
In 2013, after a personal and transformational experience with DBT, Dr. Stacy founded Harmony Harbor Counseling with a passion to serve the Sarasota & Manatee community and meet a much-needed gap in care. As her journey unfolded, she further explored somatic practices and holistic approaches to healing, which inspired a natural evolution into Harmony Harbor Counseling & Wellness.
Driven by a desire to share this knowledge, she began seeking out like-minded “unicorns” in the field—clinicians who valued DBT, inclusive care, and the vital connection between mind and body. What began as one therapist’s vision and personal healing journey has since grown into a thriving team united by a shared mission.
We are parents, friends, neurodiverse individuals, multilingual speakers, mindfulness practitioners, yoga teachers, outdoor adventurers, animal lovers, and trauma survivors. We show up authentically, integrating the very practices we teach, while also striving for balance in our own lives.
Together, we create a sanctuary where healing is both a personal journey and a collective mission.
